This sub-fonds consists of records from the Education and Social Policy Department (ESP) and its successors the Poverty and Social Policy Department (PSP) and the Poverty, Gender, and Public Sector Management Department (PGP). Records include chronological files created by ESP, PSP, and PGP. Records related to the Annual Progress Report on Poverty (APPR) and the ESP/PSP Discussion Paper Series are also included. The sub-fonds additionally includes subject and activity files maintained for PSP/PGP Director Ishrat Husain. The sub-fonds also includes PSP briefing letters prepared for World Bank senior officials and records related to conferences, seminars, symposiums, workshops, and meetings organized and attended by PSP staff.

The sub-fonds includes operations policy and project support records from the following departments: the Transportation, Water, and Telecommunications Department (TWT) from 1978 to 1982; the Urban Projects Department (URB) from 1978 to 1982; the Water and Urban Development Department (WUD) from 1983 to 1986; and the Transportation Department (TRP) from 1983 to 1986. The sub-fonds also includes records related to liaison with external organizations, which were maintained by TWT from 1978 to 1983.

This subfonds consists of chronological files and subject files maintained by Richard H. Frank during his career at the World Bank Group. These include: correspondence from Frank's work in Agriculture Division III of the Europe, Middle East, and North Africa Region Projects Department (EMPA3) in 1978; chronological correspondence related to Frank's various positions in IFC, 1979 to 1995, including vice president, IFC Finance and Planning; correspondence related to Frank's position as managing director, 1995 to 1997; and subject files related to his work at IFC and as managing director. Also included are records of speeches Frank gave and professional seminars he participated in.

This subfonds consists of incoming and outgoing chronological correspondence files and subject files maintained by Jessica P. Einhorn during her career at the World Bank Group. The bulk of the chronological correspondence covers the period of 1987 to 1998, spanning Einhorn's work in the Financial Operations Department (FOD), the Office of the Vice President and Treasurer (TREVP), and the Managing Director, Finance and Resource Mobilization (MDFMD). The subject files consist mostly of records created by Einhorn, as well as some created by her predecessors in FOD and TREVP. The records in this subfonds relate primarily to the World Bank Group's financial activities.

Subfonds contains records maintained by Bernhard H. Liese that primarily relate to his participation in jointly sponsored health programs including the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP)/World Bank/World Health Organization (WHO) Special Programme for Research and Training in Tropical Diseases (TDR) and the WHO Division of Diarrhoeal and Acute Respiratory Disease Control (CDR). Liese's management of the Bank's financial support to these and other programs and his tropical disease research activities are also represented in the subfonds.

The subfonds consists of records maintained by Olga Jonas during the period from 1999 to 2014 while she served as principal economist, Resource Mobilization Department (FRM) and then as economic adviser in various Operations Policy and Country Services Network (OPC) and Human Development Network (HDN) units. Records primarily reflect Jonas' activities as coordinator of the Bank's Avian and Human Influenza (AHI) response program, as well as her role in the international Small States Task Force and the Indian Ocean tsunami disaster recovery response.

The subfonds consists of records maintained by David R. Bock while serving as director of various World Bank units between 1983 and 1991. Records include: chronological files related to Bock's role as director of the Debt Management and Financial Services Department (DFS), Cofinancing and Financial Advisory Services Department (CFS), and Office of the Senior Vice President, Operations (OPNSV); subject files related to his work in Financial Policy and Analysis Department (FPADR), DFS, CFS, and OPNSV; and work program and budget files accumulated while overseeing FPADR, DFS, and OPNSV.

The records primarily relate to the Bank's finance and lending operations, including: financial policy and planning; financial analysis; debt crisis and debt reduction initiatives, including the Bank's assistance to the United States-led Brady Plan; cofinancing and cooperation with development partners, country lending and technical assistance programs, and operations staffing and business planning.

The subfonds consists of records maintained by Debrework Zewdie during the period from 1999 to 2006 when she served as manager of the AIDS Campaign Team for Africa (ACTafrica) in the Africa Region, and then as adviser and director, HDNGA. Records reflect Zewdie's managerial and oversight role over the Bank's HIV/AIDS programs, her participation in conferences and meetings, and collaboration with external organizations.

This sub-fonds consists of chronological files created by Johannes Linn during his time in a variety of positions at the World Bank, including: the Urban and Regional Economics Division of the Economics Department (ECDRB) and its successor the Development Economics Department (DEDRB) of the Development Policy Vice Presidency (DPS); the East Asia and Pacific Vice Presidency (AENVP) and Asia Regional Vice Presidency (ASI); the Development Economist and Chief Economist Vice Presidency (DECVP); and the Vice President of the Financial Policy and Risk Management Vice Presidency (FPRVP). Note that this sub-fonds does not contain records from his time as Vice President of the Europe and Central Asia Regional Vice Presidency (ECAVP). Chronological files contain correspondence and memoranda primarily between Linn and World Bank colleagues; a smaller amount are between Linn and external individuals and institutions.

Fonds contains chronological files created by Rischard throughout his career at the World Bank Group, excluding only his time as Vice President, Europe (EXTEU). This includes his positions as: Project officer, Industrial Projects Department (NDP/IPD/IND); Financial analyst and division chief, Financial Policy and Analysis Department (FPA); Director, Investment Department (INV); and Vice President, Finance and Private Sector Development Vice Presidency (FPD).
